Arcadia Boutique brings together fashion, art and sustainability
With the extensive number of small shops and boutiques that Philadelphia has to offer, it is often hard to find one that sets itself apart and creates a unique experience for shoppers. Shops often muddle together, carrying the same trends, looks, and ideas but Arcadia Boutique has been able to set themselves apart as a different kind of Philly boutique. Arcadia carries an array of clothing, accessories and jewelry but while one will find well known brands, such as, OBEY, Catherine Weitzman, and BB Dakota, the boutique also proudly displays up and coming designers from around the world throughout the store. Home accents and gifts are also a prominent feature, as well as, eco fashion, hand selected vintage and recycled clothing and accessories. The boutique is owned by Philadelphia’s own Ali McCloud, and has been named “Best of Philly” by Philadelphia magazine in 2008 and 2010. With two locations in Northern Liberties and Rittenhouse, Arcadia often hosts trunk shows, events and art openings. Arcadia also makes an effort to support artists and charities by featuring local and national artists work every three months with a portion of the sale proceeds going to the Katherine Alexandra Charitable Foundation. Shopping at Arcadia Boutique is truly a distinctive experience; offering fashion and art, celebrating local designers and artists, and promoting sustainability, your visit will stay with you long after you leave their store, most likely with two arms full of items.
